🇫🇷 Version Francaise ici
It's up to you to design the next collection of cement tiles.
Are you a designer, artist, enthusiast, or student? No matter! I am open to proposals from everyone 🥰
Is it for the pros ?
No! It's for all creatives 💞
Is that free ?
Yes ! Totally ✨
Is that complicated ?
There are a few rules to follow, but it's not rocket science 🫶.
Why offer a pattern?
To see one's work come to life as a cement tile.
You earn 7% on all sales of your tiles. Your work is protected by a contract.
All proposals are accepted?
Unfortunately, only certain proposals will be accepted. However, I respond to everyone and I will explain to you why I am not selecting your collection.
How to present a collection?
In vector format in an Illustrator file (the file must be clean and not automatically generated from another software).
How can I receive your collection?
By email to coucou@cesarbazaar.com
With the Illustrator file attached
Don't forget to mention:
The name and description of the collection
The color codes used (see Color Chart)
Please be patient, I am overwhelmed and may take time to respond.
According to what criteria do I make my choice?
If I think it will please
If I like it
If it meets the constraints
What is a collection?
A set of coherent patterns sharing the same colors and intended to be used together.
A collection can consist of a single pattern.
The same pattern can be used with different colors in the same collection (example).
The tiles measure 20x20cm. A maximum of 5 colors per collection (to be selected from the color chart) (note: white is a color).
A maximum of 4 patterns per collection.
Technical constraints:
Not everything can be done in cement tiles!
You need to think of your pattern as being composed of flat colors, like a vector drawing. Small surfaces and fine lines are not possible, just like gradients.
The finest line you can design must have a minimum width of 12 mm.
The smallest shape must be about 12 mm in diameter.
In case of doubt, refer to my catalog to see what is possible.
Keep in mind that the more different shapes there are in your pattern, the more squares need to be filled, and the more complex the pattern will be to manufacture.
A few tips:
Enjoy creating the pattern of your dreams 🥰 …
… but remember that the goal is for people to buy it for their walls or floors 😅.
From experience, customers mostly buy patterns with few colors, abstract or repeating designs …
… however, colorful and figurative patterns tend to have more success on social media.
